Overview
The double-through bushing is a fully insulated and fully shielded epoxy resin cast insulation component. Both ends of the product are designed as standard 630A European (C-type) interfaces, which are used to physically connect and electrically conduct two or more 630A fully insulated non-electrically live plug-in terminators in a fully insulated separable connection system. This product is a key intermediate conversion component for constructing cable distribution boxes (T-type connections), expanding incoming and outgoing lines of ring main units, or connecting equipment rooms.
Core Functions
Build separable joints (Separable Splice): In cable distribution boxes or ring main units, it serves as the base for the “T” connector, connecting two or more cable terminators to achieve cable line branching or ring network connections.
Combined with bushing extenders (Bushing Extender): When the bushing interface position of switch equipment (such as transformers, load switches) is too deep or the space is limited, by combining the double-through bushing with the extender, the interface can be extended to a position convenient for terminal installation and plugging.
Full insulation protection: The product is entirely made of epoxy resin vacuum casting, with a semiconductive shielding layer on the outer surface and grounded, ensuring that the equipment enclosure is touchable, achieving full insulation and full sealing, and suitable for compact gas-insulated switchgear or outdoor harsh environments.
Applications
10kV/24kV Cable Distribution Box: Serving as a connection hub between main lines and branch lines.
Ring Main Unit (RMU): Used for extended connections of incoming and outgoing line units.
Pad-mounted Substation (American-style / European-style): Connecting the high-voltage bushings of transformers to the ring main incoming and outgoing lines.
Compact Gas-insulated Switchgear (C-GIS): Acting as insulation support and connecting components inside the gas chamber.
