It can process tens of thousands of points of data in one thousandth of a second to achieve the precise control of transmission power and improve the control and protection accuracy of the power grid to the microsecond level。

The new flexible DC converter valve is ready for operation.It will be used in a new flexible DC transmission line, the Kunliulong DC project, which will carry the 33 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity produced annually by the Wudongde Hydropower Station, the world’s seventh-largest hydropower station, 1,452 kilometers to Guangdong and Guangxi provinces.
Flexible direct current (VDC) transmission technology, which enables faster and more flexible grid regulation, is considered a key technology to cope with the large-scale grid connection of renewable energy in the future.
