What is a cable fault indicator?

Fault indicator is a kind of electromagnetic induction equipment that can reflect that there is a short circuit current through the fault sign (red card).
Install the fault indicator along the distribution line. Once the line fails and the short-circuit current flows, the fault indicator will be activated and the red card will appear.

Product Principle

Short-circuit detection: The detection circuit has a sudden change in current when a short-circuit fault occurs, and the sudden change value is greater than a certain value (which can be set according to the relay protection setting) within a certain period of time to trip and power outage.
Grounding detection detects voltage changes, capacitor currents and phase conditions when grounding, detects harmonic changes, and comprehensively determines whether grounding occurs.
