AZT 15/200 Loadbreak Elbow Connector: IEEE Certified Safe Connection for 15 kV Underground Distribution

Designed for 15 kV class underground cable systems (95 kV BIL), this American style elbow accessory​ fully complies with IEEE Standard 386​ and IEEE Standard 592.

It connects underground power cables, pad mounted transformers, switchgears​ and load break bushings, and enables safe energized load make and load break operations​ for urban buried grids​ and industrial power supply projects.

The whole body adopts peroxide-cured EPDM rubber​ with an integrated multi-layer structure: built-in stress-control insert, insulating EPDM layer​ and outer conductive shielding jacket. The submersible fully-shielded design​ adapts to harsh underground environments. Its tin-plated copper conducting probe​ is fitted with an arc-extinguishing tip​ to switch live-line load current. A built-in capacitive test point​ supports quick live-circuit inspection​ during routine maintenance.

Full delivery kits​ contain the load-break probe, special installation wrench, compression connector, silicone grease​ and assembly hardware.
