This oil level indicator is suitable for indicating the oil level of the transformer oil reservoir and for triggering high and low oil level alarms. It is easy to use. It has the dual functions of providing direct on-site indication and outputting switch signals for remote monitoring. 2, Working principle
When the oil level in the transformer’s oil reservoir rises or drops, the float (or float ball) of the oil level indicator or the diaphragm of the oil reservoir will move up and down accordingly, causing the pendulum to swing up and down as well. The pendulum then drives the pointer of the display part to rotate through the transmission mechanism and the magnetic coupler, thereby making the oil level in the transformer’s oil reservoir be displayed on the dial.
When the oil level rises to the highest or drops to the lowest oil level, the pointer will indicate the maximum or minimum position, and at the same time, an alarm signal will be issued.
Relative humidity: When the air temperature is 25ºC, the relative humidity should not exceed 90%.
Oil temperature should not exceed 90ºC.
