Even under the infringement of force majeure (such as a strong collision with foreign objects such as cars), the use of touchable and non-touchable cable joints will have the same result. From the perspective of reliability in operation, the touchable cable joint is covered with a conductive layer and grounded by a metal hoop, so there is no external insulation creeping distance. The outer layer of the inaccessible cable joint is a strong insulating silicone rubber, and there are still many external insulation creeping distances. Obviously, under the same circumstances, the operating reliability of the non-touchable cable connector is higher than that of the touchable cable connector. From an economic point of view, the price of non-touchable silicone rubber cable connectors is also lower than that of touchable cable connectors.
