Field engineers working on medium voltage pad-mounted transformers and switchgear know how critical visible, reliable grounding is for safe site operations. Our AJDZT-200 grounding elbow was built with this real-world requirement in mind.
This unit establishes a dependable grounding path for the non-energized portion of distribution lines. It mounts directly onto loadbreak bushing inserts, feed-thru inserts, and connection junctions found on pad-mounted transformers and other related distribution apparatus. Teams can use this 15kV and 25kV grounding elbow to achieve visible grounding for cables, transformers and switchgear. It works as a standalone component, or paired with feed-through accessories that share matching voltage and current ratings.
We use peroxide-cured EPDM compounds for the main insulation body. The internal contact is a tin-plated copper probe to maintain consistent electrical performance. A 600V copper grounding cable comes standard, and we can adjust its length to match specific site layout needs.
Built for 200A loadbreak bushings and compatible accessories, the design conforms to IEEE standard 386, fitting widely used North American medium voltage distribution specifications.
